Who reads URLpitch updates?
Because of our ever-expanding distribution network, it's difficult to give a clear overview of who will read your URLpitch. However, the audience includes:
• Journalists, site reviewers, broadcasters and other media professionals who have asked to receive the full text of site announcements via email
• Journalists, site reviewers, broadcasters and other media professionals who have asked to receive headlines and summaries via email/RSS feed which link to the full text
• Journalists and other media professionals who read announcements on a regular round-up posted to ClickPress, USPRwire and UKPRwire
• Journalists, bloggers and other media professionals who have subscribed to the direct RSS feed or bookmarked the URLpitch blog
• Users who have elected to process the URLpitch RSS feed via another service or application - click here for more info about this
Who writes the site announcement text?
We ask you to provide as much info as possible when you submit your pitch and we'll take care of it after that. You'll receive an edited version for approval prior to submission and payment.
Will you pitch any site or service?
We have to assess every URLpitch on a case-by-case basis, because of the ever-changing rules and etiquette regarding what is suitable and appropriate for a global audience. However, we can say that we are unable to distribute news about a site or service which deals with illegal activities.
How can I pay for my URLpitch submission?
We use 2Checkout and PayPal, so you can be sure your credit card payment will be made in a secure-server environment.
Will my URL be submitted to search engines/directories?
We're afraid not - this isn't what URLpitch is about. You need a search engine submission service - click here for Google's suggestions, but please note that we cannot vouch for any of these.
